Background: Pediatric palliative care (PPC) is a priority to improve pediatric hematology oncology (PHO) care in Eurasia. However, there are limited regional opportunities for PPC education. View Article and Find Full Text PDFThe WHO recommends performance of the evaluation of the measurement of prevalence of the main forms of leucosis in the region as the primary step of the development of the National Program of the struggle with leukemia. During the period from 2000 to 2010 in the Republic of Karakalpakstan there were registered 252 cases (3,9 %) cases of leucosis. Of them 141 (49,5 %) were males, and 111 (38,9 %) - females at the age from 15 to 70 years.
