Thin-section chest CT findings of primary Sjögren's syndrome: correlation with pulmonary function.

The purpose of this study was to describe thin-section CT findings of lung involvement in patients with primary Sjögren's syndrome (PSS), and to correlate them with pulmonary function tests (PFT). The chest thin-section CT examinations of 35 patients with proven diagnosis of PSS and respiratory symptoms were retrospectively assessed by two observers, in a first step independently with interobserver evaluation, and in a second step in consensus. The extent of the most frequent CT findings was scored.

Imaging evaluation of renal trauma.

The kidney is the most commonly injured genitourinary organ. The diagnosis and treatment depend on the mechanism of injury (blunt or penetrating trauma), the clinical presentation, and the extent of the lesions. Knowledge of the different appearances of the posttraumatic kidney on imaging studies is essential for prompt and effective treatment of patients.

[Audit on pelvimetry at a polyvalent radiology department].

Purpose: Study of the dose absorbed by the fetus during CT pelvimetry.

Material And Methods: Twenty consecutive pelvimetries on pregnant women showed the mean fetal location in regard of the maternal pelvic skeleton (retrospective study). Then, thermoluminescent radiation detectors were put in the antropomorph phantom slices, in housing correspondent to the fetal's volume.
