Objectives: to understand the experience of nurses immersed in the everyday world of organ and tissue donation.

Methods: study on the social phenomenology of Alfred Schütz, carried out with 27 nurses who work on Intra-Hospital Committees for Donation of Organs and Tissues for Transplants in states in the Northeast of Brazil. Data were collected through phenomenological interviews and analyzed according to the adopted framework and compared with scientific productions.

The use of natural products for therapeutic purposes is a common practice since the beginning of time, as it was already known that they contained biological components beneficial to health, which also justifies the growing demand for products made from Amazonian raw materials. The accessibility to information and an aggressive marketing favored the consumption of these products globally. However, the legislation in different countries on how to obtain plant raw materials, process them and subsequently sell them can leave gaps and doubts leading the consumer to make mistakes.

Purpose: Violence prevention requires robust data on trends in different forms of violence and measures of progress toward reduction across subgroups of the population. This study aimed to investigate trends and related socioeconomic inequalities in parental physical aggression and involvement in physical fights among adolescents.

Methods: Three population-based birth cohorts were conducted, including all births in the calendar years 1982, 1993, and 2004 in Pelotas city, Southern Brazil, with over 4,200 births in each cohort.
