Objective: Diabetes is frequently linked with depression, and both conditions are common complications during pregnancy. However, research findings exploring the relationship between diabetes mellitus in pregnancy (DMP) and perinatal depression (PND) have been inconsistent. Thus, this study seeks to examine the association between DMP and PND in a prospective population-based cohort.

Effectiveness of the third wave cognitive behavior therapy for peripartum depression treatment-A systematic review.

Introduction: To investigate the effectiveness of third-wave cognitive behavior therapies in the treatment of peripartum depression.

Method: A systematic review of the effectiveness of psychological interventions in treating peripartum depression focus on the Third Wave has been conducted. The electronic databases MEDLINE, PsycINFO, Web of Science and Clinical Trials were searched, using a combination of different search terms.

Working Memory During Late Pregnancy: Associations With Antepartum and Postpartum Depression Symptoms.

Background: Few studies, with conflicting results, report on the association between memory performance and depressive symptoms during the perinatal period. In this study, we aimed to evaluate whether memory performance during late pregnancy is associated with antepartum (APD) and postpartum depression (PPD) symptoms.

Method: We conducted a prospective follow-up of 283 pregnant women, nested within a large cohort of women enrolled in the BASIC study in Uppsala University hospital between 2009 and 2019.
