Background: Advance care planning (ACP) is becoming increasingly important in medical care. Some suggest standardized approaches to initiate ACP with all older adults. However, the idea of patient-centered care suggests more nuanced approaches tailored to individual older adults' needs.

[Using the Treatment Passport to stimulate Advance Care Planning].

Care recipients are becoming increasingly involved in the decision-making process for suitable treatments. Advance Care Planning (ACP) enables care recipients and healthcare professionals to timely think and discuss wishes and preferences for treatments, before a care recipient becomes limited by disease, cognitive problems or age. The Treatment Passport is developed by geriatric specialist Esther Bertholet and contains supportive questions to think about treatment wishes.

A blind review and an informed review of interval breast cancer cases in the Limburg screening programme, the Netherlands.

Objective: To investigate the proportion of interval breast cancers that could have been detected at the previous screening examination, and to gain more insight into the characteristics of these tumours.

Setting: Breast cancer screening programme in mid- and southern Limburg, the Netherlands.

Method: Firstly, previous screening mammograms of 92 interval cancer cases were blindly reread by the radiologists from two different units as part of their daily screening workload.
