[Long-term outcomes after endoscopic treatment of patients with Zenker's diverticulum].

Objective: To assess the long-term outcomes after endoscopic treatment of patients with Zenker's diverticulum.

Material And Methods: A single-center retrospective study included 207 patients with Zenker's diverticulum who underwent surgery between July 2014 and November 2021. There were 213 interventions including surgeries for recurrence.

[Treatment of primary malignant melanoma of the esophagus].

Objective: To present treatment of primary esophageal melanoma in a young patient, as well as review of modern data on this issue.

Material And Methods: We describe the results of treatment of a patient with primary melanoma of the esophagus. PubMed, SCOPUS, and elibrary databases were used for the review.

Curriculum for ERCP and endoscopic ultrasound training in Europe: European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE) Position Statement.

The European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE) has recognized the need to formalize and enhance training in endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) and endoscopic ultrasound (EUS). This manuscript represents the outcome of a formal Delphi process resulting in an official Position Statement of the ESGE and provides a framework to develop and maintain skills in ERCP and EUS. This curriculum is set out in terms of the prerequisites prior to training; recommended steps of training to a defined syllabus; the quality of training; and how competence should be defined and evidenced before independent practice.

[Russian consensus on current issues in the diagnosis and treatment of obstructive jaundice syndrome].

The Russian consensus document on topical issues of the diagnosis and treatment of obstructive jaundice syndrome was prepared by a group of experts in various fields of surgery, endoscopy, interventional radiology, radiological diagnosis and intensive care. The goal of this document is to clarify and consolidate the opinions of national experts on the following issues: timing of diagnosis of obstructive jaundice, features of diagnostic measures, the need and possibility of conservative measures for obstructive jaundice, and strategy of biliary decompression depending on the cause and level of biliary block.
