Ligand engineering of immobilized nanoclusters on surfaces: ligand exchange reactions with supported Au(PPh)Br.

The properties of gold nanoclusters, apart from being size-dependent, are strongly related to the nature of the protecting ligand. Ligand exchange on Au nanoclusters has been proven to be a powerful tool for tuning their properties, but has so far been limited to dissolved clusters in solution. By supporting the clusters previously functionalized in solution, it is uncertain that the functionality is still accessible once the cluster is on the surface.

In Vivo Evaluations of Inter-Observer Reliability Using VITA Easyshade® Advance 4.0 Dental Shade-Matching Device.

In Vivo and in Vitro Evaluations of Repeatability and Accuracy of VITA Easyshade® Advance 4.0 Dental Shade-Matching Device.

Objectives: The objective of this study was to evaluate the intra-device repeatability and accuracy of dental shade-matching device (VITA Easyshade® Advance 4.0) using both in vitro and in vivo models.

Case Report: Detailed preoperative examinations showed significant, segmental stenosis of the celiac trunk, caused by outer compression of a tendonous arc of diaphragm, in the background of abdominal pain and mesenteric ischemia of a 58-year-old woman. After preparation we have executed the surgery by removing a tight ring, located at around 8-10 mm from the origin of trifurcation, and a part of the celiac ganglion.
