[Voltaren gel in the combined treatment of patients with psoriatic arthritis].

One percent voltaren gel, a new drug manufactured by Ciba-Geigy [correction of Sib-Geigi], Switzerland, was used in the treatment of 57 patients with psoriasis in the progressive stage and psoriatic arthritis symptoms. The drug is characterized by antiinflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic effects. No side effects or complications were recorded in the course of voltaren gel therapy.
