Objectives: gene polymorphic variants can decrease the effects of losartan, reducing active metabolite (E-3174) formation. Study aims to determine the influence of (+430C>T; rs799853) and *3 (+1075A>C; rs1057910) gene polymorphic variants on the hypotensive and uricosuric effect of losartan on patients with arterial hypertension.
Methods: Eighty one patients with stage 1-2 arterial hypertension newly diagnosed with ABMP were enrolled in the study.

The review traces the evolution of the section on the use of antibacterial drugs in the temporary guidelines of the Ministry of Health for the treatment of a new coronavirus infection. Diagnostic approaches that play an important role in deciding on the need and duration of antibacterial therapy are presented. Routine use of fluoroquinolones should be restricted due to the adverse safety spectrum.

Aim: Analyze frequencies and distribution patterns of two markers associated with severe COVID-19 ( and ) and look for potential correlations between these markers and deaths from COVID-19 among populations in Russia and across the world.
Methods: We genotyped 1883 samples from 91 ethnic groups pooled into 28 populations representing Russia and its neighbor states.
In this article we present problems of prognostic value of day-by-day blood pressure (BP) variability, its role in development and progression of damage of target organs in arterial hypertension, and impact on risk of cardiovascular, cerebral-vascular complications, and mortality. We also discuss methodological aspects of assessment of day-by-day BP variability. The article contains literature data on effects of antihypertensive therapy on variability of home BP, and consideration of evidence base of possibilities of the fixed amlodipine/perindopril combination for lowering day-by-day BP variability.

Methods: The research included 411 patients with ACS (143 Russians and 268 Yakuts) and 204 patients with histologically confirmed gastric ulcer (63 Russians and 141 Yakuts). Genotyping of 681G>A and 636G>A polymorphisms was performed by using polymerase real-time chain reaction.
