[Development and estimation of nanosomal rifampicin].

A lab-scale method for preparation of rifampicin-loaded polybutylcyanoacrylate nanoparticles (nanosames) was developed. The biodistribution of the nanosome-entrapped rifampicin after its intravenous administration was studied on healthy mice. The nanoparticles provided significant liver and spleen accumulation of rifampicin.

[Luplatex and its radioprotective properties].

In experimental conditions the radioprotective properties of the placental complex Luplatex created in Scientific production complex "Biotechindustry" was studied. In experiments on mice F1(CBA x C57Bl) it was shown that Luplatex injected intraperitoneally in dose 0.5 ml 5-10 min before or after whole body gamma-irradiation with 8 Gy (LD80/30) increased the survival up to 40% as compared to the control group.

[Chronic gastritis in children with concomitant diseases of the thyroid gland].

We examined: 1 group--16 children with chronic gastritis (CG) and autoimmune thyroiditis (AT); 2 group--41 children with functional thyroidal pathologies; 3 group--23 children with CG only. The average age in all groups was 11.17 +/- 2.

[Antibodies to H+/K+-ATPase of gastric parietal cells in children with Helicobacter pylori associated chronic gastritis].

54 children at the age of 3-15 suffering from HP-associated CG were examined. Antibodies to H+/K(+)-ATPase of gastric parietal cells were determined with the help of the immune-enzyme analysis method. It was discovered that antibodies to H+/K(+)-ATPase are found in 27.

[Effect of corticotropin-releasing factor on anoxia-induced changes in evoked potentials in cultured tissue of the rat olfactory cortex].

The experiments were performed on incubated slices of the rat rostal olfactory cortex. The slices were treated with various concentrations (10(-7) to 10(-9)) of corticotropin-releasing factor before (40 min), during, and after a 10-minute anoxic episode. The parallel control experiments were carried out without CRF.
