Introduction: During acute stroke, 30% of all patients present dysphagia and 50% of that subgroup will experience bronchoaspiration. • Emergency room visits have significantly increased due to factors like immigration and longer life expectancies, with many patients seeking immediate care to bypass long wait times for specialist appointments.
