In 31 rabbits the authors studied the systolic blood-pressure, the intraocular pressure and the aqueous humour outflow during althesine-monoanaesthesia. While the systolic blood-pressure decreased, the intraocular pressure increased during anaesthesia. The increase in the intraocular pressure was accompanied by an increase in the outflow facility.
