Granular cell tumor of the breast: a case report.

Introduction: A granular cell tumor involving the breast parenchyma was first described by Abrikossoff in 1931. Localization of this lesion to the breast is very rare, accounting for between 5% and 15% of all granular cell tumor cases. We present this case because of the rarity of this tumor.

[Epidemiological and pathological features of cancer in Fez Boulemane region, Morocco].

In Fez-Boulemane, Morocco, there is no cancer registry so there is a lack of information about the incidence and characteristics of cancer in the region. In this retrospective study we examined the epidemiological and pathological features of 5532 cases of cancer collected from the Department of Pathology in Hassan II University Hospital of Fes from 2004 to 2010. The mean age of the patients was 53.

[Streptococcus intermedius: a rare cause of brain abscess in children].

Streptococcus intermedius is a member of the Streptococcus anginosus group, also known as the Streptococcus milleri group. Although this is a commensal agent of the mouth and upper airways, it has been recognized as an important pathogen in the formation of abscesses. However, it has rarely been involved in the formation of brain abscess in children.

Digestive cancers in Morocco: Fez-Boulemane region.

Introduction: To describe the epidemiological and pathological aspects of gastrointestinal cancers in Fez-Boulemane.

Methods: This was a retrospective descriptive study of 1120 gastrointestinal cancers diagnosed between 2004 and 2010 in the department of Pathology of Hassan II University Hospital in Fez Morocco.

Results: The average age of our patients was 53 years with a male predominance in 52% of cases.
