Women's lived experience of intimate partner violence manifestations during the breastfeeding period: a lifeworld hermeneutic study.

Background: One in three women will experience Intimate Partner Violence (IPV). Exposure during breastfeeding endangers women's and children's health and wellbeing, negatively affects breastfeeding, and violates human rights and global sustainability goals. Previous qualitative studies have demonstrated that existential aspects are crucial in the separate experience of both IPV and breastfeeding.

Implementing a Decommissioning Programme in Swedish Healthcare: Experiences of Healthcare Managers.

Decommissioning programmes pose a substantial risk of failure compared to other change processes in healthcare. A better understanding of the challenges associated with change processes initiated by resource scarcity faced by healthcare managers is crucial. This study describes and compares department and unit managers' experiences during the implementation of a large-scale decommissioning programme in a Swedish region.

Graft detachment rates in surgeon-cut and pre-cut tissue for DSAEK transported in different mediums.

Purpose: To analyse graft detachment rates after Descemet stripping automated endothelial keratoplasty (DSAEK) using surgeon-cut grafts and pre-cut grafts transported in different mediums.

Methods: A retrospective study of graft detachment rates including 265 surgeries (240 patients) performed between 2019 and 2023. The DSAEK grafts were either surgeon-cut (n = 135) or pre-cut and transported in a dextran-containing medium (n = 82) or in a dextran-free medium (n = 48).

Putting a decommissioning programme into action: an interview study with politicians and public servants in a local healthcare organisation.

Purpose: A local healthcare organisation providing healthcare to 288,000 residents in Sweden struggled with a longstanding budget deficit. Several attempts to overcome the demanding financial situation have failed. A decommissioning programme was launched, and two years later, an evaluation indicated positive outcomes.

Early findings in a randomised controlled trial on crosslinking protocols using isoosmolar and hypoosmolar riboflavin for the treatment of progressive keratoconus.

Purpose: To present baseline characteristics and to present the perioperative corneal thickness during corneal crosslinking (CXL) treatment for progressive keratoconus and to describe how the addition of sterile water (SW) efficaciously can maintain the corneal thickness. The treatment efficacy will be evaluated when the 1-year follow-up is complete.

Methods: A randomised clinical study using epithelium-off CXL with continuous UVA irradiation (9 mW/cm) and two kinds of riboflavin solutions: (i) isoosmolar dextran-based riboflavin (n = 27) and (ii) hypoosmolar dextran-free riboflavin (n = 27).
