Background: Analyzing mixtures of radionuclides is a complex task. Two situations are the mixtures of Sr with Sr and Sr with plutonium isotopes. The challenge arises in emergency scenarios resulting from accidents where the activity of Sr is over 20 times higher than that of Sr, complicating its quantification and requiring delayed measurements.

The kidney, among the organs evaluated in toxicity assessments, has a higher susceptibility, with nephrotoxic potential frequently evading detection until late in clinical trials. Traditional cell culture, which has been widely used for decades, does not recapitulate the structure and complexity of the native tissue, which can affect cell function, and the response to cytotoxins does not resemble what occurs in the kidney.

Female eels need to ovulate within 18 h after injection to release good quality eggs. Progesterone (P), as an upstream precursor of DHP, may promote endogenous DHP production and improve egg quality.

As two-thirds of these lesions will appear benign after diagnostic surgery, improved preoperative diagnostic methods need to be developed. In this pilot study, we evaluate if the metabolomic profiles of liquid-based (CytoRich) FNAC samples of benign and malignant nodules can allow the molecular diagnosis of TNs.
