[Characteristics of autoimmune hemolytic anemia in adults: retrospective analysis of 83 cases].

Purpose: To describe the main characteristics and outcome of adult's acquired immune hemolytic anemias (AIHA). To analyse the relevance of the complementary tests performed for the search of an underlying disease.

Methods: Retrospective (1980-2000) monocentric study.

[Thymoma and disseminated lupus erythematosus. Two new cases and review of the literature].

Introduction: Thymoma is a tumour originating in the epithelial cells of the thymus, associated with several immunologic disorders. The association of thymoma with systemic lupus erythematosus has rarely been described. We report two cases of this association.
