On the Convergence Rate for the Longest at Most -Contaminated Runs of Heads.

In this paper, we study the usual coin tossing experiment. We call a run at most -contaminated, if it contains at most tails. We approximate the distribution of the length of the longest at most -contaminated runs.

1,1,6-Trimethyl-1,2-dihydronaphthalene Content of Riesling Wines in Hungary.

1,1,6-Trimethyl-1,2-dihydronaphthalene (TDN) is known to give a petrol note when smelling and tasting wine, which is most pronounced in Riesling varieties. Its increasing concentration has been linked to climate change. In the present work, a gas chromatographic method was used to quantify free TDN in "Italian Riesling", "Rhine Riesling", and "Kéknyelű" wines from Hungary.

General Bahr-Esseen inequalities and their applications.

We study the Bahr-Esseen inequality. We show that the Bahr-Esseen inequality holds with exponent if it holds with exponent [Formula: see text] for the truncated and centered random variables. The Bahr-Esseen inequality is also true if the truncated random variables are acceptable.

[Total laparoscopic hysterectomy with the coagulation of the uterine arteries at their origin].

Introduction: Hysterectomy is one of the most frequently performed gynecological operations worldwide. Due to patient perceived advantages of technical development laparoscopic hysterectomy has become a widely used method. The attitude of patients, surgeons and service providers to laparoscopic procedures is not uniform, but total laparoscopic hysterectomy has prevailed due to its advantages from other types of laparoscopic hysterectomies.
