Herein, we demonstrate a simple hydrothermal route to synthesizing ZnSe/ZnO type II heterostructure using L-cysteine as a capping agent. The use of nanomaterials in bioimaging and photocatalysis towards the degradation of Azophloxine dye is of potential interest. The synthesized ZnSe/ZnO nanomaterials were characterized by UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy, IR spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.

The Model Reference Adaptive System (MRAS) is effective for speed control in sensorless Induction Motor (IM) drives, particularly at zero and very low speeds. This study enhances MRAS's resilience and dynamic performance by integrating an Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) controller into sensorless vector-controlled IM drives. The research addresses challenges related to parameter uncertainties, load variations, and external disturbances through the combination of MRAS and ANFIS.

In this work a novel control scheme for the three-phase dynamic voltage restorer has been proposed and validated. The proposed control strategy guarantees the source current waveform to be sinusoidal and at near unity power factor. Further, the voltage sag and swell occurring in the source are overcome and the load gets a smooth power supply at a voltage closer to the rated voltage even in the face of voltage sag or swell occurring in the source.

Background: Anemia is more common in people with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and is more likely when glycemic control is poor. Anemia in T2DM can reduce quality of life and increase cardiovascular risk, and therefore, its prevalence and contributory factors in diabetic patients with normal kidney function are important to understand.
