Nonlinear magnetoconductivity (NLMC) is a nonreciprocal transport response arising in non-centrosymmetric materials. However, this ordinary NLMC signal vanishes at zero magnetic field, limiting its potential for applications. Here, the observation of an anomalous NLMC controlled by internal order parameters such as the magnetization or Néel vectors is reported.

: The primary aim of this single cross-sectional study was to identify the physical characteristics (anthropometric, somatotype, body composition) of orienteering athletes (OAs) and to compare them with nutrition knowledge (NK) and physical activity level (PAL). : Data were collected from 58 subjects of seven countries, including Angola ( = 1), Brazil ( = 5), Poland ( = 1), Portugal ( = 26), South Africa ( = 1), Spain ( = 22) and Sweden ( = 2). The subjects included 10 elite (E) female (F) OAs [age: 25.

Amazonian fruit residues like piquia shells are often discarded despite their antioxidant potential for sustainable cosmetic use. This study evaluated the photostability, phototoxicity, and photoprotection of hydroalcoholic piquia shell extract (PqSE) combined with UV filters in solutions and cosmetic formulations. PqSE formulations were photostable, even stabilizing photounstable UV filters.

Introduction: Older patients are more susceptible to medication use, and physiological changes resulting from aging and organic dysfunctions presented by critically-ill patients may alter the pharmacokinetic or pharmacodynamic behavior. Thus, critically-ill older people present greater vulnerability to the occurrence of pharmacotherapeutic problems.

Objective: To evaluate pharmacotherapy and the development of potential adverse drug reactions (ADRs) in older patients admitted to an intensive care unit (ICU).
