Introduction: Adverse drug reactions (ADRs) pose a significant challenge in clinical practice, impacting patient safety and treatment outcomes. Genetic variations in drug-metabolizing enzymes, particularly glutathione S-transferases (GSTs), have been implicated in modulating individual susceptibility to ADRs.

Areas Covered: This overview aims to explore the association between GSTs genetic polymorphisms and ADRs across diverse drug categories documented in current literature.

Perovskite oxides are promising electrocatalysts for various energy applications due to their exceptional catalytic activity, flexible architecture, and low cost. In this study, LCFO was doped with different ratios of Ca from eggshells, resulting in dual-purpose electrocatalysts for oxygen reduction and evolution processes. The nanoparticles were characterized using various techniques, including Brunauer-Emmett-Teller analysis and XRD.

Special education teachers encounter considerable occupational challenges, yet there is limited information concerning musculoskeletal disorders (MSD) within this group. Therefore, this study aimed to address this gap by determining the prevalence of MSD, investigating associated factors of MSD, and identifying predictors of MSD among special education teachers. A cross-sectional study was conducted among special education teachers in Kota Kinabalu and Penampang, Sabah.

A specific surgical procedure to remove the apices in the upper jaw.

This clinical case report focuses on a case of surgery performed on a patient with the aim of cutting the dental apices in the patient's upper jaw. Mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) was used as a filling material, and monitoring the condition showed that the operation was successful.
