The findings of the study of immunological structure of the population in regions endemic for leptospirosis indicate that the immune status of humans makes it impossible to obtain titrated blood sera for the preparation of antileptospirosis immunoglobulin. The data obtained in the study of the immunobiological properties of a new concentrated vaccine against icterohemorrhagic leptospirosis show the possibility of using this vaccine for the immunization of donors with the aim of obtaining blood sera to be used as raw material for the production of immunobiological preparations.

A typical flow rate curve was demonstrated for each of the vessels. The assessment of numeric pulsation index values showed its significant reduction in the ovarian artery where the ovary contains a mature follicle or a luteal body.

An active natural focus of icterohemorrhagic leptospirosis has been detected in the area of fish-breeding ponds in Rostov Province, where the intensive epizootic among the population of Norway rats is observed the whole year round (574 animals have been examined, 56 cultures have been isolated). The epizootic process reaches its highest intensity in autumn (the proportion of infected animals exceeds 50%). This natural focus in the area of fish-breeding ponds is epidemiologically dangerous.

Intravenous administration of antiarrhythmic agents is shown to be accompanied with increased release of prostacyclin that has antiarrhythmic properties into myocardial outflow. Both ritmilen and allapinin promoted the predominance of prostacyclin over thromboxane, with its intrinsic arrhythmogenic properties.

Ritmilen has been shown to have an essential cardiodepressive effect. An intravenous 150 mg dose of Ritmilen results in a depression of dp/dtmax, Veragut's index, ejection fraction, mean standard circular fibre shortening rate, and increase in left ventricular systolic and end diastolic pressure, total peripheral resistance and mean arterial blood pressure.
