The Micius satellite is the pioneering initiative to demonstrate quantum teleportation, entanglement distribution, quantum key distribution (QKD), and quantum-secured communications experiments at the global scale. Thirteen new metallacarborane complexes of rhodium and iridium with covalently bound cage carbon atoms were synthesized and their thermal stability was investigated. Two iridium complexes undergo a polyhedral rearrangement with the formation of more than one isomer. The structures of the new isomers were determined by a single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis and B{H}-B{H} COSY NMR.

Survival rate, average life expectancy of victims, parameters of the acid - base balance, gas composition of blood, and morphological structure of internal organs have been studied in acute experiments on a group of 120 rats with burn injury of IIIB degree (20% of body surface) against early introduction of antihypoxants reamberin and cytoflavin. It is established that the introduction of antihypoxants reliably prevents the development of typical pathologic processes and hypoxemia, reduces expressiveness of organ dysfunction and extent of mophological changes in internal organs, and increases 1.5 - 2.

Leaching from municipal solid waste incineration bottom ash treated in a rotary kiln was quantified using a combination of lab-scale leaching experiments and geochemical modelling. Thermal treatment in the rotary kiln had no significant effect on the leaching of Al, Ba, Ca, Mg, Si, Sr, Zn, sulfate and inorganic carbon. Leaching of these elements from the treated residues remained unchanged and was, in general, controlled by solubility of the same minerals as in the untreated residues.
