Background: BMA guidance recommends all hospitals provide suitable, comfortable and convenient period products. In 2018, none of Scotland's health boards had policies on sanitary product provision.

Recognising eosinophilic oesophagitis as a cause of food bolus obstruction.

Background: Eosinophilic oesophagitis (EoE) is a chronic, inflammatory condition of the oesophagus, characterised by intermittent dysphagia, food bolus obstruction (FBO) and histologically proven, eosinophil-mediated inflammation. EoE is identified in up to 50% of FBO presentations.

Objective: To evaluate the management of patients presenting with FBO to our centre against current clinical guidelines.

Recent advances in the diagnosis and treatment of voice disorders necessitate the need for accurate and reliable objective voice measurements. There are many instruments commonly used to analyze voice data. Many, if not most, of these instruments have not been adequately tested for reliability or consistency.

Hairy polyp of the oropharynx: case report and literature review.

Hairy polyp of the oronasopharynx is an uncommon developmental malformation that is most frequently seen as a pedunculated tumor in the neonate. Derived from the ectoderm and mesoderm, this benign tumor generally has been classified as dermoid. The clinical presentation is dependent on the polyp's size and location.
