An inpatient psychiatric stay for youth should go beyond acute containment of risk and pharmacologic changes and, instead, offer tailored evidence-based treatments in a manner that is individualized for the patient and caregivers. A unique, transdiagnostic guidebook can be utilized within the inpatient hospitalization structure in a way that adds value to the treatment but does not burden the clinical floor staff. This study describes the process of creating a patient-centered youth guidebook, implementation, and recommendations for others wanting to consider the use of a similar modality.

However, several limitations associated with the use of natural fibres and polymers should be addressed if they are to be seriously considered mainstream fibre reinforcements. These include poor compatibility of natural fibres with polymer matrices, variability, high moisture absorption, and flammability.

There have been considerable advancements in artificial intelligence (AI), specifically with generative AI (GAI) models. GAI is a class of algorithms designed to create new data, such as text, images, and audio, that resembles the data on which they have been trained. These models have been recently investigated in medicine, yet the opportunity and utility of GAI in behavioral health are relatively underexplored.

Objectives: This study aims to compare the intestinal microbiota and intestinal inflammation of children with esophageal atresia (EA) to matched healthy controls, and to investigate the relationship between these factors and clinical outcomes.
Methods: A cross-sectional study of 35 children with EA and 35 matched healthy controls (HC) from a single tertiary pediatric hospital in Australia was conducted. Demographic and dietary data were collected using surveys.
Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a multisystem, autosomal, recessive disease primarily affecting the lungs, pancreas, gastrointestinal tract, and liver. Whilst there is increasing evidence of a microbial 'gut-lung axis' in chronic respiratory conditions, there has been limited analysis of such a concept in CF. We performed a comprehensive dietary and microbiota analysis to explore the interactions between diet, gastrointestinal microbiota, respiratory microbiota, and clinical outcomes in children with CF.
