In this work, two Schiff-base-based chemosensors and containing electron-rich quinoline and anthracene rings were designed. is AIEE active in a MeOH-HO solvent system while formed aggregates as confirmed by the DLS measurements and fluorescence lifetime studies. The chemosensor was used for the sensitive, selective, and reversible 'turn-on' detection of Al and Ga ions as well as Aspartic Acid (Asp).

Methods: In order to disseminate findings from a review on mental health and coping for children and adolescents, a psychoeducational comic book 'Somoud' was developed and piloted with adolescents and their caregivers in Lebanon, using a qualitative Grounded Theory approach.
Results: In total, 10 participants (5 adolescents, 5 parents), took part in the study.
Objective: HIV positive individuals infected with viral hepatitis B (HBV) or C (HCV) are at an increased risk of progression to kidney and liver failures. Therefore, prior to initiation of antiretroviral therapy, early diagnosis and initiation of appropriate treatment protocols are imperative for co-infected individuals. This study evaluated the prevalence of HBV and HCV, and extent of liver and renal dysfunction among 90 newly diagnosed HIV patients attending the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital HIV clinic.

Greenhouse (2006), growth chamber (2007), and field studies (2009-2010) were conducted to determine the efficacy of cyantraniliprole for managing Bemisia tabaci (Gennadius) biotype B and in interfering with transmission of tomato yellow leaf curl virus (TYLCV) by this whitefly. Cyantraniliprole applied as soil treatments (200 SC) or foliar sprays (100 OD) provided excellent adult whitefly control, TYLCV suppression, and reduced oviposition and nymph survival, comparable to current standards.
