Post-Coronavirus Disease 2019 (post-COVID-19) syndrome represents a cluster of persistent symptoms following Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection that can severely affect quality of life. The pathogenic mechanisms and epidemiology in different regions are still under evaluation. To assess the outcomes of post-COVID-19 syndrome, we performed a questionnaire-based, cross-sectional study in previously infected individuals.

This study examines the gas-phase reactions of ozone (O) with five methyl-butenols (2-methyl-3-buten-2-ol, 3-methyl-2-buten-1-ol, 3-methyl-3-buten-1-ol, 2-methyl-3-buten-1-ol, and 3-methyl-3-buten-2-ol) under atmospheric conditions at a temperature of (298 ± 2) K and pressure of (1000 ± 10) mbar. The experimental values for the gas-phase reaction rate coefficients obtained in this study, by using the relative rate method, are as follows (in cm molecule s): k(3-methyl-2-buten-1-ol + O) = (311 ± 20) × 10, (2-methyl-3-buten-2-ol + O) = (9.

The experiments were carried out in the environmental simulation chamber made of quartz from the "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University of Iasi (ESC-Q-UAIC), Romania, at a temperature of (298 ± 2) K and a total air pressure of (1000 ± 10) mbar. In situ long-path Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy was used to monitor 3-hexenyl formate (3HF, ()-CHCHCH═CH(CH)OC(O)H), 3-hexenyl acetate (3HAc, ()-CHCHCH═CH(CH)OC(O)CH), 3-hexenyl isobutyrate (3HiB, ()-CHCHCH═CH(CH)OC(O)CH(CH)), 3-hexenyl 3-methylbutanoate (3H3MeB, ()-CHCHCH═CH(CH)OC(O)CHCH(CH)), 3-hexenyl hexanoate (3HH, ()-CHCHCH═CH(CH)OC(O)(CH)CH), -3-hexenyl -3-hexenoate (3H3H, ()-CHCHCH═CH(CH)OC(O)CHCH═CHCHCH), 3-hexenyl benzoate (3HBz, ()-CHCHCH═CH(CH)OC(O)CH), and the reference compounds.

The gas-phase rate coefficients of OH radicals with 2-methyl-3-buten-2-ol (), 3-methyl-2-buten-1-ol (), 3-methyl-3-buten-1-ol (), 2-methyl-3-buten-1-ol (), and 3-methyl-3-buten-2-ol () at 298 ± 2 K and 1000 ± 10 mbar total pressure of synthetic air were determined under low- and high-NO conditions using the relative kinetic technique. The present work provides for the first time the rate coefficients of gas-phase reactions of hydroxyl radicals with 2-methyl-3-buten-1-ol and 3-methyl-3-buten-2-ol.

During the last few years, obtaining hybrid azaheterocyclic drugs represents a powerful and attractive approach in modern antimicrobial therapy with very promising results including overcoming microbial drug resistance. The emphasis of this review is to notify the scientific community about the latest recent advances from the last five years in the field of hybrid azine derivatives with antimicrobial activity.
