Transurethral resection of a large bladder hemangioma of mixed histological composition: a case report.

Hemangioma is a rare benign vascular tumor of the bladder, which occurs mainly in children. It has no specific clinical symptoms but can result in severe and fatal complications as well as relapse. In the current clinical observation, a 35-year-old patient had a large solid tumor of the bladder spreading into the muscular layer.

[Extracorporeal shockwave lithotripsy of stones in lower calices of kidney].

The article presents the results of the study aimed to evaluation of possible relationship between anatomical structure of the renal pelvis of the kidney, the size of the stone and the effectiveness of extracorporeal shockwave lithotripsy (ESWL) of stones in lower calices of kidney, defined as "stone-free state". ESWL was performed in 285 patients. Sizes of stones varied from 5 to 25 mm.

[Management of urological patients with HIV infection].

The analysis of urological care for HIV infected patients treated in Moscow city clinical hospital N 47 covers 12-year trends in hospitalization of HIV-infected urological patients, their nosological distribution, statistics of surgical outcomes. The highest efficacy of empiric antibacterial therapy of acute pyelonephritis in HIV-infected patients was seen in combined administration of fluorofloxacin of the second generation (ofloxacin) and nitroimidasol (metronidasol). Specific features of pharmacokinetics and interaction of antiretroviral drugs with medicines used in urological practice are analysed.

Use of an extracorporeal arteriovenous tubing loop to measure cardiac output in intensive care unit patients by ultrasound velocity dilution.

Thermodilution cardiac output (CO) measurement requires heart catheterization and is known as a risk factor. The existing cannula in the radial artery in intensive care unit (ICU) patients can be used to measure CO by ultrasound dilution (COus). An arteriovenous shunt between the radial artery and cubital vein was created using a 25 cm tubing loop.

[The determination of cardiac output by the dilution of ultrasonic blood density].

The authors propose assessing cardiac output (CO) by diluting the blood ultrasonic properties. For measuring CO, the peripheral artery and vein were connected with a catheter, and ultrasonic flowmetric pickup was attached to the shunt. Indicator (0.
