Pedunculate oak ( L.) is widely distributed across Europe and serves critical ecological, economic, and recreational functions. Investigating its responses to stressors such as drought, extreme temperatures, pests, and pathogens provides valuable insights into its capacity to adapt to climate change.

Materials And Methods: Eggs were irradiated with protons in different modes depending on the dose rate: in a conventional mode (<1 Gy/s, CONV), in a flash mode (∼100 Gy/s, FLASH) and in a single-pulse flash mode (∼10 Gy/s SPLASH).
Results: By the criteria of body weight and length, as well as the number of erythrocytes with micronuclei in nine-day-old embryos from eggs irradiated in the spread-out Bragg peak (SOBP) (8.
A new nitro-nitrosyl complex [RuNO(Phen)(NO)OH] (1) was synthesized and characterized by X-ray diffraction, where Phen = 1,10-phenanthroline. The complex was crystallized in two different modifications without (1) and with a solvent molecule of DMF (1a). The photolysis process together with the determination of the quantum yield of NO release was investigated in acetonitrile solution using a special flow-through system for the simultaneous registration of infrared (IR) and optical absorption (UV-vis) spectra under irradiation with 450 nm light.

The CoZr nanocomposites were obtained from metal powders by mechanochemical activation in a high-energy mill under an argon atmosphere, followed by treatment with hydrogen at high pressure and room temperature. Ceramic-metal catalysts were prepared by mixing the corresponding CoZrH powder nanocomposite (30 wt%) with powdered aluminum (70 wt%), hydrothermal treatment of the mixture and subsequent calcination.

The attenuated replica of the second harmonic pulse (455 nm) was compressed down to 28.6 fs by means of dispersive mirrors, with a significant reduction in both the wings and the far temporal contrast.
