Understanding in what time frame a patient can spread SARS-CoV-2 is just as important as knowing the transmission mechanisms themselves. This information is necessary to develop effective measures to prevent infection by breaking the chains of transmission of the virus.

Effects of Pirfenidone on Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis Progression and Safety: Results of Multicenter Prospective Observational Study.

The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of pirfenidone in patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) seen in clinical practice. Fifty-five adults with IPF were enrolled in this multicenter, open-label, non-randomized, non-controlled, interventional clinical study. All patients received pirfenidone 2403 mg/day (three 267 mg capsules three times daily) for 26 weeks.

Russian Registry of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis: Clinical Features, Treatment Management, and Outcomes.

Unlabelled: A registry of patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) was founded in Russia in 2016. The aim of this study was to analyze the demographic, clinical, functional, radiological, and morphological data of the patients included in this registry.

Methods: This was a prospective multicenter, observational, non-interventional study.
