The PEG-coated ferrite nanoparticles CoMnZnFeO (X1), CoMnZnFeO (X2), and CoMnZnFeO (X3) were synthesized by the coprecipitation method. The nanoparticles were characterized by XRD, Raman, VSM, XPS, and TEM. The magnetic hyperthermia efficiency (MH) was determined for PEG-coated nanoparticles using an alternating magnetic field (AMF).

Background: Cholesteatoma surgery involves canal wall down (CWD) and canal wall up (CWU) mastoidectomy. CWU is associated with higher cholesteatoma recurrence, often linked to attic retraction pockets. Attic reconstruction with cartilage or bone pate lacks comparative evidence.

Magnetically soft-soft MnFeO-FeO core-shell nanoparticles were synthesized through a seed-mediated method using the organometallic decomposition of metal acetyl acetonates. Two sets of core-shell nanoparticles (S1 and S2) of similar core sizes of 5.0 nm and different shell thicknesses (4.

Introduction: Self-harm is a growing public health problem. The study aimed to investigate the prevalence of self-harm among a representative sample of school children and the contribution of dentofacial appearance and being bullied because of dentofacial appearance to self-harm.

Methods: This was a cross-sectional study in which a representative sample of eighth-grade students (aged 13-14 years) from randomly selected schools was asked to complete anonymous questionnaires distributed in the classroom.

Magnetically hard-soft core-shell ferrite nanoparticles are synthesized using an organometallic decomposition method through seed-mediated growth. Two sets of core-shell nanoparticles (S1 and S2) with different shell (FeO) thicknesses and similar core (CoFeO) sizes are obtained by varying the initial quantities of seed nanoparticles of size 6.0 ± 1.
