Renal cell carcinoma (RCC) defines a varied class of primary renal neoplasms which arise from the renal cortex. Because RCC often progresses silently to a very advanced metastatic stage, the majority of RCC cases are diagnosed either incidentally on abdominal imaging or upon presentation of invasive disease at metastatic sites. This case profiles a 57-year-old woman with distant history of resected RCC who presented with a posterior breast mass that was diagnosed as metastatic recurrence of RCC through mammogram, ultrasound, and core biopsy.

Though SCLCs most commonly present as large masses interfering with the airway, this malignancy may appear initially as a benign mass at a distant site. This case profiles a 64-year-old woman who presented with bilateral breast masses that were identified as metastases of poorly differentiated, high-grade neuroendocrine SCLC through mammogram, ultrasound, CT, and core biopsy.

Aim: The aim of this prospective study was to investigate the relationship between periodontitis and preeclampsia in never-smokers.
Materials And Methods: Pregnant women were recruited at 21 to 24 weeks of gestation from March 2009 to June 2013. Information on demographics, health behaviours, obstetric history, and systemic diseases that can influence periodontal status and preeclampsia was collected.
Objective: To evaluate the perinatal outcomes and clinical factors of unsuccessful trials of labor (TOLs) in late preterm and term twin pregnancies.
Methods: We enrolled 896 consecutive twin pregnancies delivered between 1999 and 2012 in a single center, which met the following inclusion criteria: a vertex first twin, live twins, and attempted TOLs after 34 weeks. Obstetric characteristics and perinatal outcomes were compared between vaginal delivery and cesarean delivery groups.
Hyaluronic acid (HA) coated drug carriers (HCDCs) were successfully synthesized by chemical conjugation method for targeted delivery of doxorubicin (DOX) as a prototype anticancer drug to CD44 expressed human breast cancer cell. From XPS analysis, the HCDCs by conjugation methods demonstrated the superior HA fixation amount and colloidal stability compared with the nanoparticles by nanoprecipitation. The cytotoxicity of the HCDCs formulation accessed by the MTT assay against the higher CD44 expressed cell line (MDA-MB-231) and lower CD44 expressed cell line (ZR-75-1) human breast cancer cell lines demonstrated that the HCDCs formulation exhibited excellent tumoricidal effect and their affinity to cancer cells was predominant.
