Purpose: The fifth World Health Organization (WHO) classification (2022 WHO) and International Consensus Classification (ICC) of myeloid neoplasms have recently been published. In this study, patients were reclassified according to the revised classification and their prognoses were analyzed to confirm the clinical utility of the new classifications.

Methods: We included 101 adult patients, 77 with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and 24 with myelodysplastic neoplasms (MDS), who underwent bone marrow aspiration and next-generation sequencing (NGS) between August 2019 and July 2023.

A vision transformer (ViT)-based deep neural network was applied to classify the flavonoid glycoside isomers by analyzing electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry (ESI-MS/MS) spectra. Our model successfully classified the flavonoid isomers with various substitution patterns (3-O, 6-C, 7-O, 8-C, 4'-O) and multiple glycosides, achieving over 80% accuracy during training. In addition, the experimental spectra from flavonoid glycoside standards were acquired with different adducts, and our model showed robust performance regardless of the experimental conditions.

A Zn-coordinated porphyrinic artificial solid-electrolyte interphase (αSEI) layer, named [Zn]PP-4COO-(Zn), was developed to improve the reversibility of zinc metal plating/stripping in aqueous zinc-ion batteries (ZIBs). Inspired by nitrogen-terminating sites of biological molecules coordinating and transporting zinc in zinc metabolic processes, the αSEI layer was designed with zinc ions connecting porphyrinic building blocks to form two-dimensional clathrate sheets and stacking -plane sheets along the -axis to allow N cages to align and form porphyrinic N channels for zinc transport. The [Zn]PP-4COO-(Zn) αSEI layer was Zn-conductive and structurally durable during repeated stripping/plating.

Mechanical stiffness of liver organoid is a key indicator for the progress of hepatic steatosis. Probe indentation is a noninvasive methodology to measure Young's modulus (YM); however, the inhomogeneous nature of the liver organoid induces measurement uncertainty requiring a large number of indentations covering a wide scanning area. Conventional approaches to video action recognition perform global attention over the entire video patches, which may be ineffective due to the temporal redundancy of video frames. Recent works on masked video modeling adopt a high-ratio tube masking and reconstruction strategy as a pre-training method to mitigate the problem of focusing on spatial features well but not on temporal features. Inspired by this pre-training method, we propose Fusion Attention for Action Recognition (FAR), which fuses the sparse-dense attention patterns specialized for temporal features with global attention during fine-tuning.
