This study presents the design and characterization of a triad metal-organic framework (MOF) system composed of pyrene, porphyrin, and phenyl-C-butyric acid (PCBA) for efficient energy and electron transfer processes mimicking natural photosynthesis. The triad MOF, synthesized through a mixed-ligand approach followed by postsynthetic modification, demonstrates sequential energy transfer from pyrene to porphyrin, followed by electron transfer to the PCBA acceptor. Time-resolved photoluminescence (TRPL) spectroscopy was employed to investigate the dynamics of energy and charge transfer, revealing fast interligand energy transfer and subsequent charge separation in the MOF structure.

View Article and Find Full Text PDFWe report a systematic Raman spectroscopy investigation of chemical vapor deposited 2D nonlayered CrS, with both linearly and circularly polarized light over a wide temperature range (5-300 K). Temperature-dependent Raman spectra exhibit a good linear relationship between the peak positions of the phonon modes and temperature. Angle-resolved polarized Raman spectra reveal the polarization-dependent optical response of in-plane and out-of-plane phonon modes.

Introduction: Stool characteristics may change depending on the endoscopic activity of ulcerative colitis (UC). We developed a deep learning model using stool photographs of patients with UC (DLSUC) to predict endoscopic mucosal inflammation.

View Article and Find Full Text PDFThe catalytic efficacy of the monobipyridyl (η--Cymene)Ru(II) half-metallocene, [(-Cym)Ru(bpy)Cl] was evaluated in both mixed homogeneous (dye + catalyst) and heterogeneous hybrid systems (dye/TiO/Catalyst) for photochemical CO reduction. A series of homogeneous photolysis experiments revealed that the (-Cym)Ru(II) catalyst engages in two competitive routes for CO reduction (CO to formate conversion via Ru-hydride vs CO to CO conversion through a Ru-COOH intermediate). The conversion activity and product selectivity were notably impacted by the p value and the concentration of the proton source added.

We evaluated the additional effect of eupatilin on the prevention of GI bleeding in both the upper and lower GI tract in concomitant aspirin and acid suppressant users using the nationwide database of national claims data from the Korean National Health Insurance Service (NHIS).
Methods: An aspirin cohort was constructed using the NHIS claims data from 2013 to 2020.

TMD monolayers synthesized via chemical vapor deposition (CVD), which are advantageous for large-area synthesis, exhibit low mobility and prominent hysteresis in the electrical signals of field-effect transistors (FETs) because of their native defects. In this study, we demonstrate an increase in electrical mobility by ∼170 times and reduced hysteresis in the current-bias curves of MoS FETs hybridized with CsPbBr for charge transfer doping, which is implemented via solution-based CsPbBr-nanocluster precipitation on CVD-grown MoS monolayer FETs.
