Three V-shaped host molecules with a cyclohexane linker were successfully synthesized for thermally activated delayed fluorescence organic light-emitting diodes (TADF-OLEDs). The unipolar host molecules, BBCzC and BTDC, contained two 9-phenyl-9-3,9'-bicarbazole (PBCz) moieties and two 2,12-di--butyl-7-phenyl-5,9-dioxa-13-boranaphtho[3,2,1-]anthracene (PDBNA) moieties, respectively. BCzTC, a bipolar host molecule, consisted of a donor unit, PBCz, and an acceptor unit, PDBNA, connected by a cyclohexane linker.

It is necessary to periodically obtain topographic maps of the geographical and environmental characteristics of tidal flats to systemically manage and monitor them. Accurate digital elevation models (DEMs) of the tidal flats are produced while using ground control points (GCPs); however, it is both complicated and difficult to conduct GPS surveys and readings of image coordinates that correspond to these because tidal flat areas are not easy to access. The position and distribution of GCPs affect DEMs, because the entire working area cannot be covered during a survey.

Various nanoparticle surface layers allow unique functionalities. We developed a coating method with tetracyanoquinodimethane that forms solid layers through π stacking on gold nanorod surfaces. Its reaction mechanism was investigated with reaction time, aging time and surfactant concentration.

A series of stereo images of a vibrating structure installed with targets are taken at specified intervals by using two daily-use cameras. A new methodology is proposed to accurately trace the spatial displacement of each target in three-dimensional space.
