Photoelectrochemical water splitting is a promising technology for converting solar energy into chemical energy. For this system to be practically viable, the materials and processes employed for photoelectrode fabrication should be cost-effective and scalable. Herein, we report the large-scale fabrication of nickel oxide-coated n-type silicon (n-Si) photoanodes chemical bath deposition for efficient photoelectrochemical water oxidation.

A nanoencapsulation strategy for a chitosan-coated liposomal system using lecithin phospholipids for the entrapment of antibiotic CLP prepared from KB21 was developed. The produced chitosan-coated CLP liposome had mean size in the range of 118.

Prior studies have demonstrated the epigenetic regulation of MDR1 and BCRP in cancer cells treated with histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitors that enhance histone acetylation and gene transcription. In the present study, we tested the in vivo effects of two HDAC inhibitors, valproic acid (VPA; 400 mg/kg) and apicidin (5 mg/kg), on Mdr1 and Bcrp transporter expression in brain regions of adult male mice injected intraperitoneally daily for 7 days.

The structure of the grown films is the photocatalytically active phase of scheelite-monoclinic BiVO which was obtained by X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis. The change of surface morphology for the BIVO thin films depending on growth temperature during synthesis has been observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and its influence on water splitting performance was investigated.

In this study, we report the structural role of each monomer position collected from 30 comprehensive model peptoid oligomers demonstrating a meticulous manner to fine-tune peptoid secondary structures.
