Review of the Oscillation of Research Regulations for Bioethics in the Republic of Korea: Comparison with Japan.

The Bioethics Act in the Republic of Korea has undergone great fluctuations akin to the pendulum of a clock. Since Professor Hwang's research ethics issue, domestic embryonic stem cell research has lost its vitality. This study argues that the Republic of Korea needs a reference point that does not waiver.
