Purpose: The risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD) mortality in patients with localized prostate cancer (PCa) by risk stratification remains unclear. The aim of this study was to determine the risk of CVD death in patients with localized PCa by risk stratification.
Patients And Methods: Population-based study of 340,806 cases in the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database diagnosed with localized PCa between 2004 and 2016.
Background: Previous studies focused on the impact of cardiovascular diseases (CVD) risk factors in breast cancer patients with chemotherapy (CT) or radiotherapy (RT). This study aimed to identify the impact of tumor characteristics on CVD death in these patients.
Methods: Data of female breast cancer patients with CT or RT between 2004 and 2016 were included.
Hypotestosterone and erectile dysfunction (ED) occur frequently in males with type 2 diabetes. It is still clinically challenging to manage diabetes-induced ED. Here, we conducted a 2-arm randomized clinical study and in vitro cell line experiments to investigate the effects of nerve growth factor (NGF) on serum testosterone and ED in diabetic males with sensorimotor polyneuropathy and to identify its underlying mechanisms.
