Several deleterious effects of Tramadol including deaths were reported especially when used in large doses. Being metabolized mainly in the liver, Tramadol have serious hepatotoxic effects. This study investigates the effect of vitamin E on Tramadol-induced hepatotoxicity in rats by evaluating the antioxidant biochemical markers, the histopathological and immunohistochemical changes.

Poor bioavailability, successive dose adjustments and reported long term toxic effects are the main hurdles associated with carbamazepine oral administration. Bees wax containing NLC formulations were developed using high shear homogenization/sonication technique to overcome drug limitations.

The results showed that these compounds can inhibit ROS generation during the metabolic phase of phagocytosis in a dose-dependent manner where compounds 5d and 5e were the most potent samples with higher inhibitory activities (IC values 3.3 and 1.

We tested whether nicotine abstinence influences the response to a CO₂ panic challenge and whether catastrophic misinterpretation (measured via the Anxiety Sensitivity [ASI] and the SomatoSensory Amplification Scale [SSAS]) exerts a moderating or mediating effect on the relationship between nicotine abstinence and panic. Eighty regular smokers underwent a 35% CO₂ challenge after the transdermal administration of nicotine or placebo.
