Rheumatic patients are required to engage in effective health management but their behavior is often influenced by intrinsic and extrinsic factors. View Article and Find Full Text PDFObjectives: To develop and test the psychometric properties of an Arabic version of Fatigue Severity Scale (FSS-Ar) that can be used to measure fatigue in Arabic patients with disorders where fatigue is a major symptom.
Methods: Forward and backward translations of FSS were undertaken to develop an Arabic version. The validity and reliability of the FSS-Ar was then tested on 28 patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), 24 patients with multiple sclerosis (MS), and 31 healthy subjects.
Aim: The aim of this study is to document adverse drug reactions (ARDs) of methotrexate (MTX) in Saudi patients.
Methods: Cross sectional study of adult patients on MTX, attending rheumatology drug monitoring clinics in a university hospital, over a period of 24 weeks. Adverse drug reactions were sought by patient interview, files review and laboratory abnormalities.

Kilnefelter's syndrome (KFS) tends to be associated with autoimmune diseases. Although several reports describe association of KFS with different autoimmune diseases, association with rheumatoid arthritis is very rare. We report a case of (KFS) who had seropositive erosive rheumatoid arthritis, and discuss the role of sex hormones/X chromosome in the pathogenesis of disease.
