Background: With the rising global desire for beauty, cosmetic interventions have increased. Saudi Arabia ranked 29 among the top 30 fastest growing countries for cosmetic procedures.
Objectives: This study aims to investigate the prevalence, acceptance level, and health impacts of cosmetic interventions among females in Saudi Arabia.
Objectives: Post-cholecystectomy syndrome (PCS) refers to the continuation or recurrence of biliary colic and any other gastrointestinal symptoms present prior to cholecystectomy. Given that PCS is rare and underestimated in Saudi Arabia, this study aimed to determine the prevalence of PCS among Saudis.
Methods: This cross-sectional study included randomly gathered subjects who self-administered the validated European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer QLQ-C30 questionnaire from September 6 to October 7, 2022.
Temporary changes in the menstrual cycle have recently been reported following SARS-CoV-2 vaccination. In the current study, we aimed to screen menstrual cycle changes following SARS-CoV-2 infection in Saudi Arabia. The type and duration of these changes have been screened in relation to the severity of coronavirus disease symptoms and vaccination status.
