Background: Tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) are the standard of care for resectable and metastatic non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) harbouring epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutations (EGFRm). We describe the real-world practice of EGFRm testing, prevalence, treatment and outcomes in EGFRm stage III NSCLC from a multi-country, observational study.

Methods: The KINDLE study retrospectively captured diagnostic information, treatments and survival outcomes in patients with stage III NSCLC from January 2013 to December 2017.

Introduction: This study aimed to report the outcomes of stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) for adrenal metastasis in a retrospective multi-institutional cohort.

Methods: The outcomes of 124 patients with 146 adrenal metastases who underwent SBRT within 11 years (2008-2019) were retrospectively evaluated. Survival outcomes were analyzed by the Kaplan-Meier method.

Introduction: Stage III NSCLC is a heterogeneous disease requiring a multimodal management approach. We conducted a real-world, global study to characterize patients, treatment patterns, and their associated clinical outcomes for stage III NSCLC.

Methods: KINDLE was a retrospective study in patients with stage III NSCLC (American Joint Committee on Cancer, seventh edition) diagnosed between January 2013 and December 2017, with at least 9 months of documented follow-up since index diagnosis.

Background: Trastuzumab prolonged the overall survival in patients with advanced gastric cancer with human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) overexpression in combination with chemotherapy. In this phase II open-label prospective study, the tolerability and safety of trastuzumab with chemotherapy, and chemoradiotherapy for curatively resected patients with HER2-positive gastric carcinoma was investigated.

Methods: The patients with HER2-positive gastric, or gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma, after gastrectomy plus D2 dissection, were included.

Purpose: In this study we compared postoperative early vs sandwich chemoradiotherapy in operated stage IIA-IIIC gastric cancer patients in terms of effectiveness and outcome.

Methods: The data of 201 gastric cancer patients treated in the same center between December 2006 and June 2017 were retrospectively evaluated. One hundred forty nine patients who were eligible for the study criteria were divided into two groups according to the postoperative treatment modality.

Background: We sought to determine the outcomes of adjuvant small pelvic external beam radiotherapy (EBRT) and prognostic factors for survival and disease control.

Patients And Methods: We retrospectively evaluated 113 cervical cancer patients treated with postoperative median 50.4-Gy small pelvic EBRT.

Background: Anaplastic astrocytoma (AA; WHO grade-III) patients determination of prognostic factors helps generating multimodal therapy protocols. For this purpose, in the Baskent University, Adana Medical Research Center, specific characteristics of AA patients who have surgery were retrospectively investigated and factors which affect prognosis has been determined.

Patients And Methods: Between January 2005 and 2009, 20 patients who have AA have been evaluated retrospectively.

A subgroup of liver metastases, especially those emanating from colorectal carcinoma, may be cured. Surgical excision is accepted as the mainstay of treatment for these malignancies; unfortunately, however, the majority of patients presents with advanced unresectable hepatic involvement and have no standard treatment option available. Radiation therapy (RT) has not played a significant role in managing liver metastases, because the liver has little tolerance to radiation.
