This case report emphasizes the clinical significance of considering common variable immunodeficiency (CVID) as a potential underlying cause in a patient presenting with chronic diarrhea. In this case study, we describe a 36-year-old female with a 9-year history of chronic diarrhea, recurrent sinopulmonary infections, and weight loss for 3 years, where previous evaluations failed to yield a diagnosis.

Objectives: To determine whether hydroxychloroquine when used with personal protective equipment reduces the proportion of laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 among healthcare workers in comparison to the use of personal protective equipment alone.
Design: Multicentre, parallel-group, open-label randomised trial. Enrolment started on 29 June 2020 and stopped on 4 February 2021.
Unlabelled: A wide range of opportunistic infections have been described in patients with Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Aspergillus and Candida have been reported as the main fungal pathogens for co-infection in these patients. Mucormycosis including Rhino-Orbital-Cerebral Mucormycosis (ROCM) has been increasingly described in patients with COVID-19 disease but the risk factors and outcome of such patients are not well described.
