Purpose: This study investigates the role of exosomes in ovarian cancer heterogeneity, which contributes to metastasis. By examining the variability of exosomes from different ovarian cancer cells, which aims to elucidate the molecular mechanisms driving this heterogeneity.
Experimental Design: Ovarian cancer cell lines were subjected to clonal culture and single-cell sorting.
Coherence scanning interferometry (CSI) is a non-destructive method for measuring the microstructure surface topography, but it fails to retrieve the bottom topography because the detection light is blocked by the sidewalls of the high aspect ratio (HAR) samples. Our team has proposed CSI technology with the detection light transparent to the sample to measure the surface topography thus ensuring the numerical aperture of the detection light with high throughput. However, a dedicated optical path to monitor the aberrations caused by the modulation from the sample is necessary and a complex optical path is added for aberration correction, which inevitably increases the design complexity and component costs of the optical system.

Precise pharmacological intervention targeting this process remains challenging. This study engineered a nanotherapeutic delivery system with CD86-positive macrophage-specific targeting and ultrasound-responsive release capabilities.

Altering the detection light to penetrate the sample like near-infrared light for silicon could overcome this obstacle, but the trench array spreads the detection light. This study introduces a coherence scanning interferometry model based on three-dimensional point spread function and assuming sample is transparent to detection light, which is realized by integrating rigorous numerical electromagnetic field solution to quantify the modulation aberrations of detection light by transparent trench arrays, and theoretical angular spectrum diffraction utilized for far-field interference imaging.

This study aims to explore the relationship between OLP and the oral microbiome.
Methods: We collected oral mucosal samples from 49 patients and 10 healthy individuals and conducted 16S rRNA and ITS gene sequencing to explore the oral fungal and bacterial communities.
The regulation of PD-L1 is the key question, which largely determines the outcome of the immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) based therapy. However, besides the transcription level, the protein stability of PD-L1 is closely correlated with its function and has drawn increasing attention. In this study, EZH2 inhibition enhances PD-L1 expression and protein stability, and the deubiquitinase ubiquitin-specific peptidase 22 (USP22) is identified as a key mediator in this process.

The expression of SCD1 is increased in many cancers, and the altered expression contributes to the proliferation, invasion, sternness and chemoresistance of cancer cells. Recently, more evidence has been reported to further support the important role of SCD1 in cancer, and the regulation mechanism of SCD1 has also been focused.

Several PARP inhibitors are currently approved for ovarian, breast and pancreatic cancer in clinical practice. However, more than 40% of patients with BRCA1/2 mutations are insensitive to PARP inhibitors, which has aroused attention to the mechanism of PARP resistance and sensitization schemes.

Background: Tumor microenvironment (TME) is the crucial mediator of tumor progression, and the TME model based on immune cell infiltration to characterize ovarian cancer is considered to be a promising strategy.
Methods: Sample data of three ovarian cancer cohorts were obtained from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) and Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) databases. The scores of 22 kinds of immune cells were calculated based on CIBERSORT, and the TME clusters (TMECs) of ovarian cancer was determined by ConsensusClusterPlus.
Background: The benefit of combined treatment with intravenous thrombolysis before endovascular thrombectomy in patients with acute ischaemic stroke caused by large vessel occlusion remains unclear. We hypothesised that the clinical outcomes of patients with stroke with large vessel occlusion treated with direct endovascular thrombectomy within 4·5 h would be non-inferior compared with the outcomes of those treated with standard bridging therapy (intravenous thrombolysis before endovascular thrombectomy).
Methods: DIRECT-SAFE was an international, multicentre, prospective, randomised, open-label, blinded-endpoint trial.
Background: Impaired behavioral inhibition is a critical factor in drug addiction and relapse. Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) reduces the craving of heroin-addicted individuals for drug-related cues. However, it is unclear whether this technique also improves impaired behavioral inhibition and how improved behavioral inhibition affects craving.

The EZH2 inhibitor EPZ-6438 was first approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 2020. However, its inadequate anti-cancer activity in solid tumors limits its clinical application.

Patients And Methods: Patients were started on maintenance therapy with lenalidomide and ixazomib within 60-180 days of stem cell infusion.
Results: Response rates deepened over time from baseline post-ASCT for 39 patients.
: Ovarian cancer is highly malignant and has a poor prognosis in the advanced stage. Studies have shown that infiltration of tumor microenvironment cells, immune cells and stromal cells has an important impact on the prognosis of cancers. However, the relationship between tumor microenvironment genes and the prognosis of ovarian cancer has not been studied.

Methods: The expressions of p16, Ki-67, SMAD3, YAP1, RELA were evaluated in the colposcopy referral population.
Background: Although the incidence of cervical cancer has decreased in recent decades with the development of human papillomavirus vaccines and cancer screening, cervical cancer remains one of the leading causes of cancer-related death worldwide. Identifying potential biomarkers for cervical cancer treatment and prognosis prediction is necessary.
Methods: Samples with mRNA sequencing, copy number variant, single nucleotide polymorphism and clinical follow-up data were downloaded from The Cancer Genome Atlas database and randomly divided into a training dataset (N=146) and a test dataset (N=147).
Background: Ovarian cancer has the highest mortality rate among gynecologic cancers, and most patients are diagnosed in advanced stages. Enhancer of zeste homolog 2 (EZH2) is a major tumor marker and an effective therapeutic target for ovarian cancer, but the underlying molecular mechanism remains unclear. The present study investigated the biological effects of EZH2 knockout in SKOV3 cells and and explored the molecular mechanism by integrated analysis of messenger RNA sequencing (mRNA-seq) and chromatin immunoprecipitation sequencing (ChIP-seq) data.
