Background: Psoriatic arthritis (PsA) is a common comorbidity in patients with psoriasis (PsO) that leads to significant disease burden. Biologic therapies targeting the interleukin (IL)-23/IL-17 axis have been widely used for PsO, but their comparative effectiveness in preventing PsA remains unclear.
Objective: The study objective was to compare the occurrence of developing incidental PsA among PsO patients treated with interleukin-23 inhibitors (IL23is) or interleukin-17 inhibitors (IL17is).

The adsorption-anaerobic ammonia oxidation process can effectively reduce excessive organic matter, capturing it instead of consuming it, which is a sustainable development technology. In this study, utilizing the excellent adsorption performance of aerobic granular sludge (AGS), an adsorption-regeneration process was employed to remove organic matter at the front end of the Anammox process through bio-adsorption in an artificial simulated domestic sewage environment, and it was successfully used for denitrification.

This retrospective study is designed to evaluate the application of a metal artifact reduction (MAR) algorithm in reducing pedicle screw metal-caused beam hardening artifacts in post-surgery pediatric low radiation dose spine CT images.
Methods: Seventy-seven children (3-15 years) who had undergone a low dose CT with 140 or 100 kV were enrolled.
Introduction: To verify our hypothesis that psoriatic arthritis (PsA) is mainly genetically predetermined and distinct from psoriasis (PsO), we use the TriNetX database to investigate whether intrinsic factors outweigh externals in PsA emergence in PsO patients.
Methods: We conducted three retrospective cohort studies utilizing information from the TriNetX network, whether (a) PsO patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM) face an elevated risk of developing PsA compared to those without type 2 DM; (b) PsO patients who smoke face a higher risk of PsA; and (c) PsO patients with type 2 DM who smoke are more likely to develop PsA than those who do not smoke.
