This cross-sectional study investigated the antimicrobial resistance (AMR) patterns of gram-negative pathogens isolated from 4,789 hospitalized patients with lower respiratory tract infections (LRTIs). Of the collected specimens, 1,325 (27.7%) tested positive for gram-negative bacteria.

Methods: We performed a retrospective cross-sectional study among 125 patients with COVID-19 in a centralized isolation facility in the community of Ho Chi Minh City from September to November 2021. Objective: To determine the rate of positive culture sputum and related factors as well as the microorganism features and antibiotic susceptibility of pathogens in elderly inpatients with exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in Thong Nhat Hospital, Vietnam.

Methods: Sixty-six chronic rhinosinusitis patients with or without nasal polyps who underwent bilateral endoscopic sinus surgery (ESS) were randomly received a biodegradable gel containing hyaluronic acid and berberine hydrochloride or merocel in both middle meatal spacers at the end procedure of ESS. Correlation of magnetic and magnetoresistive properties of nanoporous Co/Pd thin multilayers fabricated on anodized TiO templates.

In this study, we consider a technological approach to obtain a high perpendicular magnetic anisotropy of the Co/Pd multilayers deposited on nanoporous TiO templates of different types of surface morphology. It is found that the use of templates with homogeneous and smoothed surface relief, formed on silicon wafers, ensures conservation of perpendicular anisotropy of the deposited films inherent in the continuous multilayers. Also, their magnetic hardening with doubling of the coercive field is observed.
