Bupropion (Bup), an antidepressant, is used to treat depression and aid in quitting smoking. We aim to investigate the influence of Bup on nicotine withdrawal (NW)-associated disturbances in serotonergic neurotransmission and behavior in mice. Adult albino mice were categorized into control and NW groups.

Due to high-ultra thermic significances, the nanosize materials are used in various chemical and mechanical engineering, modern technology and thermic engineering eras. For industrial growth of a country, one of the biggest challenges for engineers and scientists is improvement in thermal production and resources. In this study we analyzed the momentum and thermic aspects of MHD Ellis ternary nano material embedded with dust particles via stretchable Riga plate including volume concentration of dust material.

Most studies are gender blind regarding the effects of chronic nicotine administration on oxidative stress in brain and liver. So we designed this study to determine the differential effects of chronic nicotine administration on parameters of oxidative stress and antioxidant status in brain and liver of male and female rats as well as on liver function tests (LFTs) and lipid profile parameters. Catalase (CAT), superoxide dismutase (SOD), reduced glutathione (GSH) and malondialdehyde (MDA) in brain and liver were assessed in controls and nicotine treated male and female rats.

Deletion of the tryptophan 2,3-dioxygenase ( TDO2 ) gene induces an anxiolytic-like behaviour in mice and TDO inhibition by allopurinol elicits an antidepressant-like effect in rats exposed to restraint stress. Chronic nicotine administration inhibits TDO activity, enhances brain serotonin synthesis and exerts anxiolytic- and antidepressant-like effects in rodent models. There is a strong association between anxiety, depression and tobacco use, which is stronger in women than in men.
