Multicomponent MOFs have offered a wide range of opportunities to harness new properties. However, the synthesis of multicomponent MOFs remains challenging. This work demonstrates the synthesis of a family of multicomponent MOFs by topological transformation from well-established multicomponent partitioned acs (pacs) structures.

However, using these reactions to build intricate structures in a cascade manner, especially in a catalytic mode, has been a challenge. In this study, we introduce a homoleptic organolanthanum catalyst to initiate lanthanum-halogen exchange and intramolecular carbohalogenation.

Iron and nitrogen co-doped carbon matrix (FeN) is a promising catalyst for converting COto CO with excellent activity and selectivity. However, the reactive mechanism of CORR on the FeN catalyst is not fully unveiled.

Here we report a general and practical protocol for regioselective dearomative annulation of indole and benzofuran derivatives in an electrochemical way. Under undivided electrolytic conditions, a series of highly functionalized five to eight-membered heterocycle-2,3-fused indolines and dihydrobenzofurans, which are typically unattainable under thermal conditions, can be successfully accessed in high yield with excellent regio- and stereo-selectivity.
