One of the most effective ways to address the problems of low solar spectrum utilization in photocatalysis and the high cost of persulfate activation technology is to create a cost-effective synergistic photothermal persulfate system. In this work, a brand-new composite catalyst called ZnFeO/FeO@MWCNTs (ZFC) was developed to activate PDS (KSO) from the aforementioned basis. ZFC's surface temperature could unbelievably reach 120.

Maleic acid (MA), an α, β-unsaturated bifunctional carboxylic acid, can esterify cotton but is not able to form crosslinking between two cellulose molecules by itself. In this research, we discovered that the wrinkle resistance of the cotton fabric treated with MA and NaHPO was significantly increased and phosphorus was bound to cotton when the treated fabric was exposed to temperatures higher than that required for esterification of cotton by MA.
