Cytokinins play important roles in regulating plant development, including shoot and root meristems, leaf longevity, and grain yield. However, the functions of rice cytokinin receptors have not been genetically characterized yet. Here we isolated a rice mutant, , with enhanced tolerance to cytokinin treatment.
