Objective To construct a library of human-derived anti-severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) single-chain variable fragments (scFv) and screen for broad-spectrum neutralizing antibodies to identify candidate molecules for the development of diagnostic and therapeutic agents. Methods Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) were isolated from the peripheral blood of patients who had recovered from novel coronavirus infection. Total RNA was extracted from these PBMCs and reverse transcribed into cDNA, which was used as a template for constructing a human anti-SARS-CoV-2 scFv library.

High density and high semiconducting-purity single-walled carbon nanotube array (A-CNT) have recently been demonstrated as promising candidates for high-performance nanoelectronics. Knowledge of the structures and arrangement of CNTs within the arrays and their interfaces to neighboring CNTs, metal contacts, and dielectrics, as the key components of an A-CNT field effect transistor (FET), is essential for device mechanistic understanding and further optimization, particularly considering that the current technologies for the fabrication of A-CNT wafers are mainly laboratory-level solution-based processes. Here, we conduct a systematic investigation into the microstructures of A-CNT FETs mainly via cross-sectional high-resolution transmission electron microscopy and tentatively establish a framework consisting of up to 11 parameters which can be used for structure-side quality evaluation of the A-CNT FETs.

In this study, we investigated the prevalence and associated factors of severe anxiety in first-time hospitalized patients with MDD with dyslipidemia.
Methods: We included 708 patients with major depressive disorder with comorbid dyslipidemia and collected their sociodemographic and general clinical data as well as biochemical parameters such as lipids, thyroid function, and blood glucose.

Background: Major depressive disorder (MDD) is a common psychiatric disorder with a high prevalence of comorbidity with subclinical hypothyroidism. The aim of this study was to investigate the prevalence and factors influencing the comorbidity of subclinical hypothyroidism in patients with dyslipidemic MDD who were hospitalized for the first time in a Chinese population.
Methods: The study incorporated 708 first-time hospitalized MDD patients, all with dyslipidemia.

Three types of graphene defects covering stone-wales (SW), single vacancy (SV), and double vacancy (DV) were taken into account, in which DV defects included DV(5-8-5), DV(555-777), and DV(5555-6-7777). The calculations of formation energies of defects showed that the SW defect has the lowest formation energy, and it was easier for DV defects to form compared with the SV defect.

When 62.5% sodium is removed from NZO, its structure and volume change little and the layered structure is retained, whereas the structure starts to distort and shift to the ZrO phase with the extraction of more than 62.

Previous work showed that undesirable formation of peroxide and superoxide bonds was controlled to some extent by Mn substitution, and the present work uses density functional calculations to examine the reasons for this by studying the anionic redox mechanism in LiMnO. This material is obtained by substituting Mn for Sn in LiSnO or for Zr in LiZrO, and we also compare this to previous work on those materials.

Bioinspired by the energy-transfer ability of natural product cercosporin, here we developed a green and highly efficient organic photosensitizer HiBRCP (hexaisobutyryl reduced cercosporin) through structural modification of cercosporin. After structural manipulation, its triplet energy was greatly improved, and then, it could markedly promote the efficient geometrical isomerization of alkenes from the -isomer to the -isomer.
